Key Stage Two (KS2)

Whilst still continuing to support and encourage each boy and girl, we begin in Key Stage 2 to foster a greater sense of independence, encouraging pupils age 7-11 to begin to take more responsibility for their personal belongings, organisation and learning. As a result, by the end of Year 6 all our pupils emerge as happy, articulate, self-confident individuals.

Children have greater freedom at playtimes and can choose where they spend their time, be it in the woods climbing trees, in the spacious fields and gardens or in the courtyard where they can enjoy ball games,  table tennis, giant chess and traditional playground games.

Greater use is made of the facilities of the senior school with children having the opportunity to use the food and nutrition room for cooking, the ICT suite and the design and technology workshop, as well as continuing to use the swimming pool, sports hall and large, spacious playing fields for PE and games.
