Registrar, full time, permanent
Hethersett Old Hall School is situated in a stunning sixteen-acre site in a village close to Norwich. Founded in the nineteen twenties, it moved to its present site in 1939 and now boasts a range of top-class facilities in the grounds of the historic Old Hall. Facilities include modern, purpose-built classrooms, a full-size sports hall, an indoor heated swimming pool and a sports field. These are set amongst woods, lawns and an orchard.
Small class sizes ensure pupils enjoy a learning programme tailored to their needs, in a friendly community with high academic expectations and a strong ethos of pastoral care. We educate boys and girls from Nursery to Year 6, and girls to 18. We welcome female pupils from around the world as boarders.
We are looking for an outstanding Registrar to run the school’s admissions operation. This year we are embarking on an ambitious programme to grow the school, and our target is to have two hundred pupils on roll in September 2020. Our Registrar will be a key player in achieving this goal.
If you are outgoing, confident and well-organised, enjoy the presence of children, if you relish a challenge and want to be part of a friendly dynamic community, you could be the person we are looking for. The job is varied, always interesting and will bring you into contact with a huge variety of people both inside school, in the local community and the wider world.
If you find this prospect exciting, we would love to hear from you.
