After School Activities Co-Ordinator

Do you have a warm, friendly personality and experience of working with children? The school is looking for an after-school co-ordinator to be responsible for children aged  3-11 who stay behind after school from Monday to Friday during term time.  The post will commence on 1st September 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter.  It involves organising indoor and outdoor games and activities, assisting in the supervision of swimming and helping 7-11 year olds to complete homework.  The person appointed will be friendly and caring, capable of organising groups of children and ensuring their safety and with a relevant qualification.  They will be assisted by a gap year tutor and possibly other colleagues, but will take overall responsibility for the children.  Between 3.00-3.45pm, they will assist with the supervision of 3-7 year olds and between 3.45-6.00pm they will be responsible for the 7-11 year olds.

Hours:         3.00-6.00pm Monday to Friday during term time (approx. 34 weeks), plus 9.00am-4.00pm on three days for staff development per year (set dates).

Salary:          £4,292-£4,554 pa subject to qualifications and experience.

Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a full-time marketing assistant to work on all aspects of school marketing.   The post commences as soon as possible.

The school has benefitted for a number of years from a very successful marketing operation.  As well as a strong website, it has a very successful blog and a weekly newsletter; there is a good relationship with the local press and the school enjoys frequent coverage in local newspapers and magazines.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly-competent marketeer who can keep us ahead in a highly competitive market place – a creative person, who can turn their ideas (and those of others) into effective and successful marketing strategies.

The successful candidate needs to be highly organised, be able to write well and be very proactive in promoting our friendly and successful school community.

Hours:         37.5hrs per week, including three staff training days (set dates).

Salary:          iro £20,000 pa subject to qualifications and experience.
