School uniform gives pupils a sense of belonging and pride and avoids a daily fashion show – just two of the reasons why we place such emphasis on pupils wearing it correctly.
We make every effort to ensure that the uniform is practical, comfortable, lasting and of a good quality without breaking the bank. Some items on the school uniform list are ‘regulation items’ which means that they must be bought from the school shop; the remaining items, such as white shirts and navy socks, are also sold in the school shop for ease but are readily available at department stores and supermarkets and can be bought elsewhere.
The School Uniform shop
Located on the school site, the School Uniform shop sells new and second-hand uniform. It is open from 8.30am – 9.30am every Thursday during term time and one day every half term from 8.30am – 4.00pm (the date is clearly advertised in the school calendar printed in our weekly newsletters, and on our blog). The shop accepts cash, cheques, debit or credit cards.
If any families have any out-grown items of school uniform that they would like to sell in the shop on a 50:50 basis, please download and attach Second-hand uniform labels (PDF) to the items you would like to sell and bring in to the school office.
All uniform should be named. One navy blazer looks very much like another! You can order personalised nametags at www.nametag-it.co.uk or call 01242 237195. Please quote code B56 when ordering and the school will receive 20% commission. Thank you.
