As part of our outdoor learning programme, the Prep School pupils took part in another Woodland Adventure Day on Wednesday 13th February. This time, the focus was on maths. The pupils, ably assisted by some of our Year 7 girls, measured distances, heights and circumferences, tabulating their results for classroom calculations with a real world focus. They also heated popcorn kernels over the fire pit. Were they trying to calculate the probability of a kernel popping …. or just making a tasty snack? Perhaps they were doing both! Look out for our next Woodland Adventure Day coming soon.
