Last Saturday, our sports hall was filled with a range of different stalls, refreshments and activities for our Christmas Fair!

There were Christmassy stalls, crafty stalls, foodie stalls, jewellery stalls and much more.

We also had a children’s craft corner, where visitors were welcome to make their own Christmas crackers.

The children had to colour in the outside of the cracker, before stuffing it with party hats, jokes, sweets and a cracker snap. They then tied each end with ribbon to make the finished cracker.

We also had a pop-up café on site, where we served hot and cold drinks, plus cakes and bakes which had been kindly donated to us by parents and staff. There were definitely some familiar faces running and perusing the stand!

We also spotted some of our pupils enjoying the fair, who happily had a picture with us…

…and some who weren’t quite as enthusiastic about having been spotted!

It’s ok though – we managed to catch them (almost) off guard, doing a fantastic job selling delicious belgian chocolate marshmallows for the fair.

Harry also did a wonderful job at the fair, running our lucky dip dressed as one of Santa’s helpers!

We were very lucky to have live music throughout the day too, which brought a really festive atmosphere to the fair.

And last, but certainly not least, we were delighted to have a visit from the man with the bag himself – Father Christmas!

Father Christmas had enlisted the help of some of our very own elves, who did a great job helping out in his grotto and handing out sweets.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our fair, and to our stall holders, parents, staff and pupils for making the event so fantastic! We still have a number of unclaimed prizes from our raffle – so be sure to keep an ear out for our call to say you’ve won. We look forward to welcoming you to next year’s fair!
