Hethersett Old Hall School is an independent school for girls and boys aged 3-11 and girls from 3-18, located near the village of Hethersett. We enjoy a rural setting – but we are also close to the fine city of Norwich, with its extensive road and rail links to the local area and beyond. We make good use of the cultural and educational resources that the city offers and also the attractive natural resources of East Anglia, one of the safest areas of the UK.
At the heart of our school is the historic Old Hall, a fine red-brick building of the Georgian period but we also enjoy the benefits of extensive modern facilities, set in sixteen acres of attractive grounds, which provide the perfect environment for each child to grow academically and personally as part of a friendly, high-achieving community. Everything here is on a human scale and geared to providing a memorable education for every pupil.
As a boarding school, we welcome girls from all over the world who give our school an international dimension essential for the citizens of tomorrow. We enjoy easy access to the London airports, as well as our local airport in Norwich; Cambridge is just an hour away.
Of course, the only way to fully appreciate what we have to offer is to pay us a visit and experience the school at first hand. We hope this website, and the glimpses of our school that it offers, will encourage you to do just that. We look forward to welcoming you.
