Pre-Prep Department
Lower-Prep, Middle-Prep and Upper-Prep (ages 4-7)
Our aim at Hethersett Old Hall School is that your child's first experience of school is positive and enjoyable. Our children are grouped according to age in small class sizes of no more than 15. Naturally, our boys and girls receive individual attention according to their needs.
Our ‘first lessons’ involve learning to respect each other, how to work in a group and how to interact with adults. We ensure that the desire to learn is nurtured. Our approach allows understanding of new concepts to develop through investigation, exploration and, above all, play. Your daughter or son will also receive an informal introduction to a foreign language.

Facilities
Your daughter or son is taught in attractive, secure, purpose-built facilities within the school’s walled garden. Facilities include a well equipped play area, and in addition our pupils enjoy using our swimming pool, tennis courts, drama theatre, music rooms and large sports hall on site.
We welcome boys and girls into Lower Prep at the age of 4. As class sizes are limited, we strongly advise early applications. For further information or to request a prospectus please call Kim Borrer, Admissions Secretary on 01603 810390 or email enquiries@hohs.co.uk
