3-Year A Level
Hethersett Old Hall School's 3-Year A Level Programme is specifically for international students who board.
It allows girls to achieve a deeper understanding of the English language and culture, consolidating their English skills, whilst studying other subjects of their choice in English. This course of study will lead to AS and A Level qualifications.
For a 3 year fixed price of £7,900 a term, students receive:
- one-to-one EFL lessons
- access to a wide range of EFL examinations through the Cambridge Board, IELTS or SATS
- preparation for University entrance
- all examination fees and textbooks
- extra-curricular theatre visits, day trips and much, much more.
The programme breaks down as follows:
Year 1: Foundation
- initial assessment and individual learning plan established
- English consolidation
- 3 hours EFL per week
- preparation for Cambridge Board
- EFL examinations
- introduction to AS Level courses.
Year 2: Lower Sixth
- AS Levels
- 2 hours EFL per week
Year 3: Upper Sixth
- A Levels
- 2 hours EFL per week
- preparation for university entrance: IELTS, SATS or other.
Students can choose from a selection of the following AS and A Level subjects:
Applied Science, Art, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Drama, English Literature, French, Geography, German, Government & Politics, Health & Social Care, History, Mathematics, Music, Photography, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Spanish, Textiles and Travel & Tourism.
We want to make your entry to our school as simple as possible. To apply for the 3-Year A Level course, we will need:
- a completed application form and
- a reference or transcript from your current school.
We will then arrange for you to take an English and Maths Assessment test in your home country.
