HOHS will be returning to Leysin, Switzerland next February half-term for another week of skiing in this fantastic resort. Our pupils were wearing their fanciest footwear on Friday, to raise money for Comic Relief. Pupils and staff were asked to wear their craziest socks or tights (girls only!) for Red Nose Day and make a donation for doing ‘something funny for money’! The school’s kayaking club will start again after the Easter holidays. The club, which is open to our prep and senior school pupils over the age of eight, will be held after school on Wednesdays at Norwich Canoe Club, Whitlingham. Our boys and girls in Year 2 have been working on their two times table. Mrs Wilson devised the perfect way to help our pupils learn it – making cakes! The class had to weigh out the ingredients, multiply everything by two, divide the mixture into two tins and bake the cakes for 2 x 10 minutes! It Continue Reading »

A team of enthusiastic cross-country runners from the Preparatory School took part in a competition at Thorpe House Langley School on Wednesday. Well done to everyone who competed in the very ‘bracing’ conditions. A special mention to Meredith Winship (6R) who came second in the Under 11s race.
