Facilities Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, forward-looking and capable person to oversee the buildings, facilities and non-educational service aspects of this small, successful independent school. The school rents out its facilities when not in session and the new facilities manager will be expected to maximise the revenue to the school from its resources.

Free accommodation for two people is provided for the vacant post in a semi-detached cottage near the centre of the campus.  It would be possible for the job to be shared by a couple who are willing to be residential in the cottage on site.

Housemistress

Hours: 2.00pm Sunday-8.30am Monday and 6.30pm Wednesday-8.30am Thursday, term time only, plus 9.00am to 4.00 on three days (set dates) per annum for staff training.

School First Aider

Hours: 8.30am to 4.00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the school term and 9.00am to 4.00pm on three staff training day (set days at the beginning and end of the school year)

Salary: £4,425pa, based on a full time equivalent of £16,088pa

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced school first aider to work from Monday 8th January 2018.  The post involves dealing with minor injuries, accidents and upsets during the school day.  Pupils range in age from three to eighteen and experience working with children and young people is highly desirable.  Kindness, compassion and a friendly attitude is essential.

We have excellent facilities in an attractive setting, within a historic school of sixteen acres including woods, field, an orchard and well-equipped sporting and play facilities. The nurse works in a dedicated sick bay area with treatment room and beds.
