The Senior School Art Club has been getting creative this term with some pop bang colour creating entries for The Education Art Prize 2013, a prestigious competition open to all schools and students up to the age of 18.

The students had to design an original piece of work, using alternative ways to create art, using anything other than a paint brush to get colour on to their piece. Their work was inspired by Ian Cook, a unique artist who has made appearances on TV programmes such as The One Show and Blue Peter, to name just a few.

Our pop bang colour competition entries are by Ella Kassulke (Year 8) – whose artwork ‘The Golden Twig’ is pictured, Grace Robinson (Year 8) and Paisley Simpson (Year 9).

The competition winners will be announced in January.

Good luck to all our girls!
