Our senior school students recently watched a touring play in French called ‘Les Filles’ that was performed in school.

Sienna Sexton (9C) wrote a review.

“The cast of two performed a play about a boy and his complicated relationship with his mother and three girls. The actors made it very clear and easy to understand by their use of repetition and gestures. It was very amusing because of the great acting. Anna Bakewell even got a chance to get involved. She did a brilliant job and added to the fun. It was very helpful to hear much of what we have been learning in use.

The male actor was very good at playing his role but was fortunate to only have one role not four, which the female actor had to manage. It was a complicated story about relationships that was made enjoyable by the fantastic actors.
