Our Year 9 pupils will be testing their entrepreneurial skills after half-term, as they embark on a business challenge under the guidance of Mr Lutkins.

Our girls have been split into four groups. Each group will be given £100 of start-up money to invest in their newly established company.

They must decide on a company name, allocate positions within their company, choose a local charity to receive their profit, come up with a product, work out how to sell their product and to who, decide how much the product will sell for, market and advertise their product and sell, sell, sell!

The contest will close on 21st March and our girls will then make a presentation to a panel of judges. They will be judged on their innovation, their presentation and their profit.

The project is part of a scheme established by David Ashcroft. For further details visit www.businessforlifecomp.com
