Bright Lights, Big City!

Christingle Service

Our preparatory school pupils took part in the school’s annual Christingle Service at St Remigius Church last week. We were delighted that so many parents and friends could attend and watch our Lower Prep and Upper Prep choirs sing so beautifully. Here’s Charlotte (4H) with her christingle.          

Preparatory School Nativity Performance

Our preparatory school pupils, from the nursery to Year 3, performed their nativity play ‘Christmas with the Aliens’ in front of a large and very enthusiastic audience in the Barn yesterday afternoon. Goodbye Sammy and Sophie!

Our gap year students, Sophie and Sammy, will be heading back home to Australia and New Zealand at the end of this week after their twelve month stay at Hethersett. Our pupils in the Preparatory School and the boarding house will miss them greatly!

Our senior quiz squad, consisting of captain Hannah Brighton (Year 13), Sophie Downing (Year 11), Sienna Sexton and Emily Edwards (Year 9) faced tough opponents in a three-way tournament hosted by Norwich High on Monday, 26th November. Charity Cake Sale, Tuesday 11th December

7H is organising a cake sale next Tuesday lunchtime at 12.30pm in Room M1. They are raising money to sponsor a rhino. Pupils, do come along and remember to bring in some change.  

The Snow Ball, Thursday 13th December

Our Parents’ Association is busy organising a ‘Snow Ball’ for our pupils in Years 7-9, which will take place in the Barn next Thursday, 13th December 7pm-9.30pm. Girls will enjoy an evening of canapes, mocktails and a disco. Don’t forget to dress to impress!
