Sixth former biologists head to the zoo

Our sixth form biology students enjoyed a trip to Colchester Zoo on Sunday 2nd December, to help enhance their A Level studies. The girls looked at a number of different animals and completed questions on a variety of topics. HOHS girls are lifesavers!

Congratulations to the following senior school girls, who passed their Bronze Medallion life-saving qualification in the school pool on Sunday. Hannah Bacon, Yasi Cheshem-Panam,  Alice Handley-Howarth, Rebecca Hazell, Emily King, Cara Knox, Erica Nunney, Natasha Porter, Ailsa McKendrick and Katie Thurtle. The girls were observed by two assessors and received their certificates and medallions at the end of the day.

Christmas In Cambridge

Our boarders headed to Cambridge on Saturday, for their Christmas outing and meal. And some last minute present buying! As well as a Mexican meal and the many festive markets, Angel and Zoe found time to inspect Trinity College.                

HOHS pupils selected for Norfolk

Congratulations to Jessie and Meredith (Year 6) who have been selected to represent Norfolk in the ‘Aviva Fun in Athletics Competition’, a Sportshall competition, at the UEA on 19th January. Sienna Sexton (9c) has also been asked to attend squad training, so fingers crossed that she also gets selected for the Norfolk team.

Celebrating Success

U14s Badminton Win!

HOHS U14s Badminton v Norwich High School 8-1 Seven students travelled to Norwich High School on Monday for an U14s badminton league fixture. Mighty Oaks from Little Acorns Grow
