Seven students travelled to Norwich High School on Monday for an U14s badminton league fixture. Our best player was injured, but came to act as an efficient coach. Emily-Jayne Matthews very kindly offered to play and paired Anna Allen effectively.
The matches were fast and furious, and scores came thick and fast. Our girls played confidently, delivering accurate smashes causing the opposition to run all over the court. All three doubles pairs played to their strengths and before anyone realised they had reached the score 21, winning their games.
Overall HOHS convincingly won 8 out of 9 games. The only game that we lost was when our third pair played their first pair. I really enjoyed watching the girls play their matches. Well done everyone.
