Last week, Year 7 spent a morning visiting a small area of Norwich as part of their geography course with Mrs Grove. The field trip taught them how to observe, note and draw some characteristics of the inner city.

Yes, it’s Children In Need tomorrow, Friday 16th November, and we are asking all HOHS pupils to ‘show us your spots’. At lunchtime we will be selling ‘spots’ to raise lots!  Buy as many spots (stickers) as you want and decorate yourself for Children In Need!

The children prepared a splendid assembly this week; they performed a terrific dance to the beat of African drums and they appealed most enthusiastically to bring your old glasses in! Year 2 pupils are taught to fly!

Amelia Bibby-Garroch’s mummy, Mrs Garroch, is a pilot and very kindly came into our Year 2 class yesterday to tell the children how an aeroplane flies. We were all fascinated to look at the maps, the pilot’s computer, photographs of the instruments in a flight deck and the charts, and even tried on the ear phones! Upper-Prep athletes compete at UEA

“The Tempest” senior school production

A cast of twenty-five girls, from Years 8-13, will be performing Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” at the Norwich Puppet Theatre next year, from Wednesday 13th – Friday 15th March.
