Years 5 and 6 visited Oxburgh Hall in October, a 15th century moated manor house, as part of their studies on the Tudors this term. Jack Barrett took this wonderful photo of the hall.

Sarah Kendall, wrote about the day,

” (the big house)….has been lived in for generations by the Beddingfield family. They still live in it today. In the house I saw some beautiful golden wallpaper and lots of big portraits. Some were of the Beddingfield family and some of long distant relatives. In one room we saw a flying tester, which is a bed held up with two chains, so it looks like it is floating.

“I really enjoyed my day and I hope to visit Oxburgh Hall again.”
