Shakespeare at The Globe

Our GCSE and A Level drama and theatre studies pupils travelled down to London yesterday to see Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” at the Globe Theatre. Our girls enjoyed an exciting afternoon soaking up the atmosphere in the authentic replica of an Elizabethan theatre and thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

HOHS Girls receive Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards

Four of our five newly qualified Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award holders went to a glittering presentation at Sandringhamon Wednesday evening. New Nursery for 3 Year Olds Now Open!

We welcomed our first pupils into our nursery class this week, located in what is now known as the OrchardBuilding (previously the Pre-Prep building). The nursery is headed up by Mrs Fox Carter, Nursery Co-ordinator.

Silver Duke of Edinburgh Exploits

Fourteen intrepid Year 11 girls had only just returned to school after the summer break when they set off on Friday to take part in their three day practice Silver Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Our boarders enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at Sheringham on Saturday, exploring Sheringham Country Park and the beach. They all had a wonderful time, picking up a tan in the process!

Our new Sixth Form girls and our current Year 13 pupils got together yesterday for a fun welcome event at Eaton Vale Outdoor Centre as part of our Sixth Form enrichment programme.
